Barb Baker is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in multiple areas of property-casualty insurance, marketing, advertising, curriculum development, training, management, and community relations. Works as Director of Advertising at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company and adjunct professor at the University of Iowa Tippie School of Business. Previous experience in transportation logistics, non-profit development, and television broadcasting. Currently serves with various community, state, and industry organizations including the Iowa Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa task force, Iowa Women’s Foundation, Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation, Iowa Sports Foundation, St. Francis Manor Foundation, and Insurance Marketing and Communications Association.
